Salak Selatan residents have been having issues with the traffic along the main roads leading to townships such as Taman Naga Mas, Taman Salak Selatan, Taman Castlefield, Kampung Salak Selatan and Kampung Malaysia Raya. Residents nearby have urged the developer of the proposed condominium project to come up with a traffic mitigation plan to ease the traffic congestion along Jalan Sungai Besi. Current traffic at Jalan Sungai Besi is already very congested and with several on-going developments nearby, roads and highways around the area can no longer accommodate the growing traffic flow. Residents at Salak South have been affected by this traffic congestion that has now been deemed as a problem with no clear solutions. Residents of Salak South commented that traffic along Jalan Sungai Besi will always come to a standstill between 7.30 am and 10.00 am, and 4.45 pm to 8.00 pm which is an issue to many of the residents there. The worse thing is even children are affected as they need to wake up extra early to avoid being late to school.
