    Cita Damansara was developed by Sunway City. The developer has been developing the whole Sunway Damansara development, which comprises of 4,000 acres for the past 10 years. Besides Sunway Damansara, the company also developed the renowned Bandar Sunway, Kiara Hills, Sunway SPK Damansara, Sunway Cheras, Sunway Rahman Putra, Sunway Alam Suria, Sunway Semenyih, Sunway Kayangan, Sunway Mutiara, Sunway Tunas, Sunway Tunasjaya and the list goes on. The facade of Cita Damansara looks like a medium-cost apartment, unlike most new condominiums in Sunway Damansara and Tropicana. It uses off-white and sand colors on its building exterior which made the condominium looks older that it is. There is 33 kV TNB high tension cables and TNB substation center located within 200 meters from Cita Damansara. Therefore, residents are exposed towards radiation hazard which generated by the power lines and the substation centre. Among the affects of these hazards include brain tumour, cancer and migraine.For corner lot units which are near to NKVE, the residents of Cita Damansara have to suffer constant noise from the NKVE. The noise is generated by sport and tune-up cars as well as motorcycles. Just recently, there was a break-in on level 12 of Block B in June, 2009. Also, there was an attempt to break-in on level 13 of the same block in the same month. Due to these cases, weakness in security measure was questioned. There was a plan to revamp the card access system several months before that, but the management claimed that they need to collect the large amount of unpaid management fees from some residents before they are able to implement it. Back then in 2008, there were several complaints forwarded toward the management of Cita Damansara, including termite problem in Block B (worse can be evidenced on ground floor), water tanks repairs and replacement needed, cleanliness of general property compound and leaking found on the car park ceiling. Overall, most claimed that they are satisfied with the management. Comparing Cita Damansara against other condominiums in the vicinity, most said that they prefer to reside in Cita than the others. The condo offers pleasant living, but it is leasehold and quite aging. On the other hand, Surian Condominiums is noisy but it is a freehold development. Meanwhile, Opal Damansara and Casa Indah 1 which facing Persiaran Surian are suffering noise and air pollution from the road in-front, and both are also leasehold residential.
