Refurbished Klang Parade promises ‘big name’ tenants upon reopening in December

Before refurbishment: Klang Parade is one of the pioneer malls in Klang.

Currently closed for refurbishment, Klang Parade shopping mall will re-open by the last quarter of this year with plans to be a one-stop suburban mall and entertainment hub. It was purchased by ARA Asia Dragon Fund last year.

In addition to upgraded facade, signage and amenities, there will be two new atriums – North and West atrium. The additional atriums will allow for more natural light within the mall vicinity and enhance the accessibility for shoppers from the Level 2 retail floor all the way to Level 5.

According to ARA senior manager (asset management) June Lim, “This refurbishment is in line with the current lifestyle trend in Klang. It will certainly make the mall more vibrant and enable it to be the shopping destination for the Klang community.”

Renovation of the existing building.

According to the mall management, the opening will see the debut at the mall of new tenants, promised to be “big names in retail and entertainment”.
