A hotel with a modern and industrial look in Bangkok city
This week Leong brings us to Siam@Siam Design Hotel & Spa in Bangkok. The hotel is strategically located at hub of Bangkok city in walking distance to big shopping outlets, therefore one will find no better location to experience all that Bangkok city has to offer.

Siam@Siam Design Hotel & Spa features high ceilings, rustic-chic finishes and an overall industrial theme that creates a modern look. This hotel boast 203 artistically designed rooms featuring high ceilings, large clear window bays and top class amenities. A unique feature of this hotel is that all rooms have an ‘unfinished’ touch which is its signature look.

These rooms are divided into three different classes; youth class, leisure class and grand business class. With striking and funky interior design, the youth class rooms are perfect for the hip youth and younger travelers while the leisure class rooms are more for couples on honeymoon and trendy holiday seekers. With a more sophisticated design, business travelers will find the grand business class rooms ideal to wind down and relax after long meetings.

In this episode, Eric provides useful design tips and discusses how one can light up the mood of the rooms with a wide range of exotic and tropical flowers. He also highlights the importance of a bedside table, as its addition to any bedroom serves multiple purposes.

Going regional
After making his name in his homeland, Leong, who is best known for his makeover television shows such as Casa Impian and Deko Bersama Eric, is all set to conquer the regional market.

Riding on the growing popularity of the Internet in this region, Leong believes Beautiful Space will be the right platform for him to up his game. Highlighting the advanced architecture and design of Southeast Asia is his goal.

His first stop is Thailand. With the support from Tourism Authority of Thailand, Leong is adamant that the show would be a favourite among the Southeast Asians and travelers alike. He also believes that the show is a perfect platform to lend some support to the country whose image was damaged following a political turmoil recently.
