KUALA LUMPUR: IOI Properties Group Bhd, in improving the infrastructure works, is connecting Puteri 1 and Puteri 2 with the 35-metre covered pedestrian bridge and making its Bandar Puteri Puchong township more pedestrian-friendly.
The pedestrian bridge, scheduled for completion in January next year, will improve accessibility for pedestrians travelling between the Puchong Financial Corporate Centre in Puteri 1 and Taman Perindustrian Puchong LRT Station.
However, several roads around Bandar Puteri Puchong will be closed to traffic from 12:30am to 5:30am on Dec 4 to facilitate its installation, according to a press release.
The roads scheduled for closure are the ingress for motorists travelling from Petaling Jaya/Kuala Lumpur on Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) heading to Bandar Puteri Puchong (No 1) and the U-turn below the Bandar Puteri Puchong Interchange (No 2).
Traffic will be diverted as follows:
- Head west to USJ/Shah Alam along the LDP
- Make a U-turn before the Puchong Barat Toll Plaza
- Keep left and take the Bandar Puteri Interchange
Motorists are advised to follow directional signages placed along the work areas, said the press release.
