Bandar Tasik Kesuma township is developed by Agenda Istimewa, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nam Fatt Corporation. The development has started since 1998, and being occupied since 2001. The residents' association of Bandar Tasik Kesuma is very active and always organizes events for the residents. One of its yearly events is Bandar Kesuma Veteran Football Tournament.The location is a bit isolated from any established township as it is located at south end of Jalan Semenyih and near to Negeri Sembilan boder. Therefore, the residents have to rely on the available amenities within the township itself as they have to travel quite far to reach established amenities such as shopping mall and hypermarket.
