Icon Residenz – the Creative Tower offers dual key units, where two apartments have separate entrances but are linked by a door.
Mah Sing Group Bhd’s Icon City mixed development near Kelana Jaya, PJ, will preview its second tower of serviced residences to the public this weekend of June 22-23, from 10am to 6pm.
Dubbed Icon Residenz – the Creative Tower, it comes after 2011′s launch of the i-Sovo units, and last year’s launch of the first Icon Residenz tower, in Icon City.
The Creative Tower offers 11 layouts of 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom and dual key units with built-up areas ranging from 675, 965 and 717 sq ft, respectively. Apartments are priced from RM588,000 (unfurnished), and the average price per sq ft comes up to RM850 per sq ft, says the developer.
The key difference between the first Icon Residenz tower and this Creative Tower is that all 333 units within this 39-storey tower offer residents the ability to customize their fixtures and fittings, or take the full-range of additional options made available by the developer.
“It is a completely customisable serviced residence, offering owners a free hand in crafting a home from the white-planned canvas provided for them here while at the same time enjoying all the privileges of a serviced apartment in a prime location,” explained Andy Chua, the COO of Mah Sing Group Bhd in charge of the Icon City project.
Two-bedroom units come with one car park bay, while the three-bedroom and dual key units have two parking bays each.
The dual key units offer either both units with the same dimensions or one larger apartment joined with a smaller one, such as a 2-bedroom unit and a studio. Both have separate entrances but are linked with a door. This configuration allows flexibility where one of the units can be taken up by either adult children who live with their families or elderly parents who can have the privacy of their own quarters. Alternatively, the space can be used as a studio or home office or even generate rental income.
Facilities include a concierge service, sun decks, roof gardens, leisure and wading pools, gym, children’s playground, barbecue deck, games room and multi-purpose outdoor function terrace. The Creative Tower also has access to the over 4-acre Central Park.
During the preview weekend, the developer will offer early bird privileges such as Developers Interest Bearing Scheme (DIBS), free legal fees on the Sales & Purchase Agreement, Deed of Mutual Covenants with disbursements, as well as loan documentation with stamp duty and disbursements, which will allow buyers increased financial flexibility during the construction period of the property.
Located on approximately 20 acres of land at the intersection of the Federal Highway and the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), Icon City’s other components include its 30 Jewels shop-offices, i-SoVo units, an office block, as well as a Gourmet Street which offers al fresco dining and shops. Icon City aims to be a sustainable development with the green certifications: USA’s LEED, Singapore’s GreenMark and Malaysia’s GBI.
