Clashing design themes overload at Z Through By The Zign, Pattaya city
This week Eric brings us to Z Through By The Zign Hotel, a place that is strategically located in the popular town of Pattaya, yet pleasantly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busiest areas. Z Through Hotel is the perfect getaway for couples or families who are in search of a relaxing and cosy atmosphere.
The hotel lobby is grand yet laidback, providing guests with a warm welcome upon entrance of the premises. Offering one of the most comfortable accommodations in Pattaya, the hotel consists of 80 beautifully designed rooms set in 40 villas. All 80 rooms are divided into four concepts: Light, Ozone, Viva and Emotions (L.O.V.E.).
Each room offers a uniquely designed living space. With a modern, contemporary style and bright colour scheme, the Light concept focuses on simplicity. The central attention-getting décor in the room is the bed head wall featuring graphic carpentry. In the Ozone concept, guests will feel revitalised by the usage of bright colours and a unique see-through floor at the entrance.
As for the Viva room, it is a fun and offbeat-themed room which is heavily decorated. The furniture in this room is made of high-end material and semi-classic woodwork which reflects sophistication of a certain type of luxurious lifestyle. The Emotions (L.O.V.E.) rooms utilize the colour red as it is the ultimate colour that can evoke love and passion. Romantic couples will enjoy the panel glass floor with a real aquarium visible underneath for a ‘under the sea’ experience.
This episode sees Eric sharing with viewers the importance of ‘string’ curtains as soft furnishing. This type of curtain is becoming a popular decor trend and can be used as a stylish divider as well as to enhance the design of a room.
Going regional
After making his name in his homeland, Eric, who is best known for his makeover television shows such as Casa Impian and Deko Bersama Eric, is all set to conquer the regional market.
Riding on the growing popularity of the Internet in this region, Eric believes Beautiful Space will be the right platform for him to up his game. Highlighting the advanced architecture and design of Southeast Asia is his goal.
His first stop is Thailand. With the support from Tourism Authority of Thailand, Eric is adamant that the show would be a favourite among the Southeast Asians and travelers alike. He also believes that the show is a perfect platform to lend some support to the country whose image was damaged following a political turmoil recently.
