Eric Leong, Celebrity interior designer
Leong has hosted six TV shows, published two books, appeared in radio shows, and endorsed multiple brands and products in the local scene. This year, Leong came up with a groundbreaking online television (www.ericleong.tv) that has, thus far, featured an online ID show titled Beautiful Space. Julie Wong, President of MIEA
Julie Wong, 50, is the current president of MIEA (Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents). There are 300+ members and they trying to increase membership. The institute plans to conduct a Diploma in Real Estate this year. Currently, they offer a 2-day basic negotiator course monthly, which have proven to be tremendously popular. |

Prof Master David Koh, Feng Shui expert
Currently, Koh, 63, lectures in Jiao Tung University, and Tung Ji University Shanghai China. He is the first person who developed and wrote the Geomancy Degree syllabus for the University. This is the first time such a Degree is ever conducted in China and probably the world. This, coming from a man, who when he was 13 years old, was told by a fortune teller that he would never travel anywhere for the rest of his life. Koh contributes to The Star and his articles on property and geomancy is published every Friday. |

Ar Saifuddin Ahmad, Founder of SNO Architects Sdn Bhd
Saifuddin Ahmad incorporated his firm, SNO Architects, in year 1997. In his designs, he tries to incorporate energy-efficient elements. He believes that once the basic is done right, everything else will fall into place. When asked what he means by “basic”, he answered, “The basic thing to implement is passive element of energy-efficient design, North-South orientation of buildings.” His firm designed the energy-efficient Ministry of Green Energy, Water and Communication building, which image was used for Malaysia’s 50 cents stamp. |

Gurmit Singh, Environmentalist
Gurmit Singh, 68, has been doing environmental work since year 1974 and is the chairman of an NGO, CETDEM (Centre of Environment, Technology and Development Malaysia). The NGO’s work encompasses a whole range of sustainable development issues. They work a lot on energy issues because energy is linked to climate change. In their website (cetdem.org.my), there are memorandum submitted to the Government of their ideas on National Energy Policy and Transport Policy. The organisation relies on public funding for their projects. |

Chan is the general manager of S. K. Brothers Realty Sdn Bhd, an agency that is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. She is a registered estate agent and financial planner. Chan was also recognised for her career achievements and contributions to society by the Malaysian Women's Weekly when she won 'Great Women of Our Time' award for the Finance and Commerce Category Year 2007.
