Flat units at Taman Permai PPR up for rental

THE flats at the Public Housing Project (PPR) in Taman Permai, Lembah Subang, are available for rental.
In a press statement, Selangor state housing, building management and squatters committee chairman Iskandar Abdul Samad said 716 out of 3,004 PPR units at Taman Permai are vacant and ready for rental.
Married Malaysians with a household income of less than RM2,000, single mothers and disabled persons are eligible to apply for the units. The rental will be RM124 or RM250 monthly depending on the family’s financial status and the number of dependants.
Entry payment (including security deposit) is RM546 or RM1,050 depending on the family’s monthly rental, where this amount can be paid by instalment if applicant meet the criteria.
“It is hoped that this offer can provide an opportunity for the people to have a place to stay,” Iskandar said, adding that the PPR is offered to the lower income groups or as transit homes for those awaiting their homes to be completed.
