Tamil school only gets three acres
TAMIL Nesan reported that SRJK (T) Sungai Salak was promised a six-acre site for its new school building but only got three acres.
The school is currently operating from a double-storey shop lot in Lukut, Negri Sembilan.
The Education Ministry informed the school recently that it would have to share the land with the new District Education Department.
A parent pointed out that by allocating only three acres for the school, SRJK (T) Sungai Salak would not qualify to become a fully-aided institution as the government required schools to be built on a minimum of five acres.
