I-City in Shah Alam shone even brighter in the presence of royal guests on Thursday night.
Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah took a stroll in the park, lit up with programmed LED lights.
Accompanied by Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, I-Berhad deputy executive director Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong and I-Berhad chief executive officer Eu Hong Chew, they admired the colourful “trees”, red “lanterns” and animal sculptures.
Later, a presentation about the township was held for the royal guests.
Eu said they would be collaborating with Tourism Malaysia to present an Arabian-flavoured i-City Ramadan Festival later.
When the sultan and Tengku Amir Shah resumed their tour in the park, the latest addition to i-City - Hibiscus in the Sky - was presented.
It was a show featuring laser LED beams shooting through the night sky.
Visitors to the 29.14ha City of Digital Lights were surprised when the sultan stopped to have a casual chat with them.
