Traffic congestion at acceptable level
I refer to the report headlined “Klang folk furious over further delay” in StarMetro on May 3 regarding the delay in the construction of a flyover project at Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim, Klang.
We are pleased to inform that the work to upgrade the road FT 5 from Kapar to Klang (Phase 3) is in progress and is expected to be completed by Sept 10.
The flyover will be opened to the public (from Shah Alam heading to Klang) on May 24.
The road from Klang to Shah Alam will be completed on July 30.
PWD project team always gives serious attention to the traffic congestion within the project site.
Furthermore, at this time, the traffic congestion is at an acceptable level. As on April 30, progress on site is at 83%.
