Bouquet for DBKL Call Centre


WHEN I first heard about the 24-hour DBKL call centre, I must confess, I was quite sceptical of its ability to attend to complaints speedily. However, after what happened last week, I salute the call centre staff.

Last Saturday afternoon, I phoned the call centre to complain about the overgrown grass on the pavement along Jalan Penaga in Bukit Bandaraya. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff member who attended to my call replied that she would give me a reference number to my complaint in a short while.

And, not only was the reference number (3028) given within minutes, but that very afternoon, about three hours after my complaint was made, the grass on the pavement was cut!

I would like to express my appreciation to the DBKL call centre, and especially the person who attended to my complaint. Keep up the good work! I hope other local councils will emulate the good work that you have set in motion.
