Hyundai Engineering wins 1.2 billion dollar order in Kuwait
South Korea's top builder Hyundai Engineering and Construction said Thursday that it had signed a 1.4 trillion won (1.2 billion dollar) deal to build a container port in northeastern Kuwait.
Under the deal with the Ministry of Public Works, Hyundai Engineering will complete the port within 42 months of the signing of the contract, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The signing took place in Kuwait on Wednesday, a Hyundai Engineering official told AFP.
The port will be built on Boubyan Island.
