Extraordinary kitchens:From basic function to a way of life
Innovations in Malaysian kitchen design concepts will be the highlight of the latest Home Decoration Exhibition (HOMEDEC) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from Oct 1-4.
Kitchen design concepts and appliances have come a long way from the days of charcoal stoves and chimney tops.
Kitchen cabinetry today offers consumers plenty of options compared to even 10 years ago when modular shelving units would have sufficed.
Nowadays, consumers would happily splurge on custom-building a dry kitchen as well as a wet kitchen with features such as induction cooking, microwave ovens that steam-cooks and sensor- touch drawers. Kitchen cabinet systems even come with audio-visual gadgets that enhance the joy of cooking.
In the forthcoming HOMEDEC event in Kuala Lumpur, the Kitchen Design highlight will be the biggest one-time showcase of Malaysia’s top kitchen cabinet suppliers and manufacturers.
A total of 16 established kitchen brands will showcase the latest kitchen designs, trends, material and technology. There will also be new design launches.
Organised since 2003, HOMEDEC always feature the latest trends, ideas and concepts of the home decorating and appliances industry in all its exhibitions.
HOMEDEC has been organised in Penang, Johor Baru and Kuala Lumpur. HOMEDEC offers all the leading brands, products and services available today in the renovation, refurbishment and decoratiing industry, whether local or overseas.
