A Creative Home With A Unique Theme
A little initiative goes a long way
Although to most this would be much hassle, in fact it’s quite the contrary according to this couple. They say with some planning, it would not be too time consuming and very possible to carry out. Despite their busy work schedule, they managed to take time out to plan and source until they finally achieved what they wanted. Most of the work was within a month’s time, and after moving in, the couple continued finalizing the furnishings and decorative items, eventually realizing their dream home in a year.
Peter credits his wife Sharon for allowing him free reign to design their home, adding, “thank God she liked it!” They said that it is important to agree on a similar direction and lifestyle, otherwise it would be difficult. He is often sought for advice by friends who also wanted to dabble in their own decorating, and has even helped a friend in doing so.
Nevertheless, he says that the satisfaction in making his house a great home is incomparable, stating “I can’t really explain it, but every time I come home, even after six to seven years, it still feels great!”.
