Penthouse at the top
The penthouse show unit spans 756sq m (8,400sq ft) over two floors. Like the superior units, the ceilings are 3.9m (13ft) high, but the master bedroom on the upper floor, being right at the top, has the privilege of having a 7m (23ft) high ceiling.
“As we have a tropical concept for the penthouse, we use teak and Balinese material,” says Maymont Development Sdn Bhd general manager Steven Ng. Teak is used extensively, from the floors of the bedrooms to the many doors.
“At the balconies for both superior units and penthouses, the floor is covered in palimanan stone, a volcanic sandstone. Besides being more expensive, it ages well, turning greenish and giving a rustic effect.”
