What's in a nami?
Plenty, as this ceiling fan has six features that set it apart from other contenders.
During this hot and stifling season, everyone longs to cool off - fast. A ceiling fan is one of the essential electrical appliances in every home. But these days, homeowners not only want a fan that is efficient but can match their modern interior decor, too.
With that in mind, Panasonic has developed a ceiling fan that is packed with superior technological features based on the needs of discerning customers.
The stylish Nami ceiling fan from Panasonic is the answer, if you've been looking for a sophisticated fan.
Six innovative features differentiate a Nami fan from other ceiling fans:

The Nami ceiling fan is packed with sophisticated technology based on the needs of customers.

State-of-the-art Yuragi (natural breeze) feature
Studies have shown that the human body and senses are at their most relaxed when exposed to sea breeze, the sound of a river flowing or ocean waves, and relaxing music.
The Yuragi function is developed based on this sensitive aspect.
Yuragi is a unique feature that incorporates the natural rhythmic breeze which is soothing instead of a constant, but stale air delivery.
Enhanced safety features
Besides the standard eletrical and thermal safety fuse, Panasonic has incorporated more safety features into the Nami.
Now the blades come with a hook that hooks to the motor/body of the fan before the blade screws are tightened. This is to avoid any mishap should the screws give way. Secondly, the rod is also connected to a switch.
Should there be any defect in installation or if any part of the fan give way, the switch will be triggered and the power supply will be cut off immediately.
Greater air delivery
Nami downplays the notion that remote control models give lesser air delivery when compared to non-remote controlled models.
With the unique 3D-blade design, Nami produces greater air delivery with low noise generation.
Seven sequential speed
Another innovation that is deemed as one of the firsts for ceiling fans is the seven-speed control.
This offers you breezy conditions and gives you more variety for speed selection.
LCD Remote Control
With the built-in LCD display, the remote control provides you a better display of the functions selected. You will always know the current setting of your ceiling fan.
Stylish and Durable Plastic Blades
Unlike conventional ceiling fans that use heavy and sometimes sharp blades, Nami's blades are made of PP fibreglass, a high quality plastic blade material.
Thus, it's more durable, light and unique.
Furthermore, consumers no longer need to worry about bending the blades while cleaning as it can withstand heat and chemicals in cleaning detergents. It's also ''break-resistant'' and is rust proof.
The super deluxe model is priced at RM539 and comes in two colours — all-white and silver-white.
Panasonic also offers the junior version of Nami, which is called Nami Jr.
This four-blade ceiling fan is smaller in diameter and offers a preset five-speed selection. This fan is best for low ceilings as Nami Jr is designed without the conventional fan rod — making the fan only a foot away from your ceiling. Nami Jr is priced at RM430.
