Wonderland for kitchen-proud house owners

FANCY a good old barbecue with the family but lack a garden? Interested to start your own collection of vintages without spending a fortune?

Then head over to The Star Lifestyle Show at the Property Fair 2009 in Penang and visit the booth of Home Focus Sdn Bhd.

A one-stop centre offering kitchen appliances to suit any need, Home Focus’ products are catered to those who seek the finer pleasures of life, at reasonable prices.

From cooker hoods to ovens, portable barbecue pits and wine cellars, they will complement your home nicely.

Home Focus will be showcasing various products from leading kitchen appliance brand Pacific, as well as complementing lifestyle products from its Pacifica range at the fair.

Among them are the Pacifica BBQ gas grills — portable, self-contained units that allow even condominium dwellers to enjoy a barbecue night with friends and family.

“It comes with a flame-tamer that prevents oil from roasting meats from dripping onto the flames, thus cutting down on flare-ups and smoke. It comes in several sizes according to your needs, the smallest one will fit comfortably in any decent-sized condominium balcony,” said northern regional manager Ashley Lim.

Also from the Pacifica range is a selection of wine cellars that allows both enthusiasts and connoisseurs an efficient and safe way to store their prized vintages.

Equipped with beechwood internal racks and UV-protected doors, the cellars come in capacities for 20, 30, 40, 110 and 160 bottles.

On wet kitchens, Lim emphasised the importance of an effective cooker hood to suck out smoke from cooking, and prevent oily residues from settling on furniture.

The Pacific line of kitchen hoods is tailored to the Asian market which leans heavily towards stir-frying, a cooking method which generates lots of smoke and unpleasant smells.

Also on show is Baumatic’s latest line of ovens, hobs, cooker hoods, refrigerators and dishwashers.

For the upcoming The Star Property Fair 2009, besides attractive discounts and free gifts, customers will also enjoy free product assembly and delivery within the island.

The Star Property Fair 2009, organised by The Star in collaboration with Henry Butcher Malaysia and supported by The Expat Group, will feature the creme de la creme of the property industry and will take place at the G Hotel on Sept 11, 12 and 13.

A ‘lifestyle’ section has also been introduced as an extension of the fair at the Gurney Plaza where visitors will find a varied selection of home improvement products and offerings with the aim of converting a property into a dream home.
