Mention Ogawa and most people would know of that brand. Now what about Cozzia? Any idea anyone? Well, Cozzia is actually a brand (from the USA) that is co-owned by Ogawa and it is spearheaded by Datuk Eddy Sik in Malaysia.
The Cozzia massage sofa is made from leather and it massages your back as well as your neck. It is the first sofa in Malaysia to provide this unique function. Cozzia massage sofas are designed this way because Cozzia believes that there is a need for a new approach when it comes to home furnishing products. This is especially true as our needs and technology get more sophisticated and we have less time for ourselves.

Shiatsu massage
Sitting on the sofa, you will feel as though two thumbs are applying pressure to your back, just like Shiatsu. Shiatsu originates from Japan and such a massage technique is where a masseur will use thumbs, fingers and palms to massage the different points of your body. To resemble this effect, the massage sofa is equipped with a dual-point massage roller which performs massages such as tapping, rolling and kneading. These massages claim to relieve stress and stimulate internal organs.

Additionally, Cozzia massage sofas can be reclined to a position that aligns your heart and this is called ‘zero stretch’. Allegedly, this position allows your heart to pump blood at a more relaxed pace.

There’s also the Cozzia lift-chair that uses a massage airbag, instead of the dual massage roller, to provide a more gentle massage. There is also the adjustable Series 5 office chair.
