Inspired by their mutual passion for high quality service and attention to detail, Ben Elliot, Aaron Simpson and Paul Drummond joined forces in London to create Quintessentially, a private members club with a global concierge service, in December 2000.

Emma Matthew, Quintessentially Chief Executive Officer – Asia Pacific
Emma Matthew joined Quintessentially in August 2005. Her creative flair and enviable network encompassing Hong Kong’s business and social elite have rapidly positioned her as one of the city’s most dynamic businesswomen.
Matthew’s career began in New Zealand as Public Relations and Communications Manager for the premier adventure tour operator, Shotover Jet. In 2000 she joined prestigious Mosimanns Events in London, where responsibilities during her tenure involved managing decadent events for prolific clients including Heads of State, the British Royal Family and Hollywood stars at locations from 10 Downing Street to the Tate Modern Gallery. This was followed by a return to her childhood roots, Hong Kong, where she secured the role of Business Development Manager at the British Chamber of Commerce, overseeing prestigious commercial delegations to China and promoting British business around the Asia-Pacific region.
Drawn by her wealth of experience and enviable network, Quintessentially approached Matthew in 2005 to oversee its expansion into Asia-Pacific. Keen to pursue her finesse for conceptualising and creating networks and relationships, Emma’s commitment to excellence has quickly established the brand as the
leading luxury lifestyle company in the region, with eight offices now catering to the needs of its discerning clientele and more planned in the coming year.
Born in Singapore and raised in Hong Kong and Britain, Matthew holds a BA (Hons) in History of Art and Tourism from Oxford Brookes University, England. Emma is passionate about luxury and enjoys a range of competitive sports and exploring the globe. Emma is responsible for the strategic development of the Quintessentially Group’s diverse business interests in Asia-Pacific.
